2010 Nationals

Sorry it’s taken so long for me to update from the Saluki Nationals.  
We had a blast!  We got to spend time camping with Jaqi, Michelle, Kate, Ray, Karen, Carmen, Peter, Rachel, Melissa, Mike & kids.  That’s one of the best parts about being at the Nationals - spending time with people we only see once or twice a year!
At the show:
Rachel with Danny (Ch. Aijalon’s Aztec Dancer Chezday) won her Junior Showmanship class and she also showed Eragon (AOM DC Chezday Dragon Dancer ESA F.Ch.) in the Coursing Dog class where they won 1st place!
Michelle showed Abby (Ch. El-Shaddai Kabad ‘el Halal JC) in the 7-10 yrs Veteran Bitch class where they took a 4th place!
In Best of Breed - Pablo (Ch. El-Shaddai Emma Dancer Chezday) shown by Lea Anne made it down to the last cut before Best of Breed Placements.  Maylea (Ch. El-Shaddai’s Don’t Burst My Bubble JC) made the 1st cut with Michelle.
Eragon with Carmen this time was awarded an Award of Merit!!! It was exciting to watch Carmen show her “boy” all the way down till the end!!
On the Field:
Maylea was awarded 4th in the Single Stakes.
In the Puppy Run Ronnie (aka Miss Kiss) was awarded 3rd.

We had a great time and are already looking forward to the 2011 National Specialty!
